Η Κινηματογραφική λέσχη στις Εργατικές Κατοικίες Ηράκλειο Κρήτης των φίλων του Παυλου Παρασχακη (ALiEN PiCTURES STUDiO, TONY ENTERPRiSES, CRiES ENTERTAINMENT, POPi KaVOY PHOTOS PRODUCTIONS, Aifnidios, VerPhil TV, MiTSARAS MPEKOS STORIES PRODUCTIONS, CINEMATONI) ξεκίνησε να δραστηριοποιείται το 2007 από τους σκηνοθέτες Παύλο Παρασχάκη, Νικόλα Παπαδάκη και τον δάσκαλο Νίκο Κούνδουρο που ήθελε να φτιάξει μία ομάδα με πάθος για τέχνη και Κινηματογράφο. Εκτοτε, νεοι δημιουργοι, ο Δάσκαλος Νικόλας Γιαννέας, ο Σπύρος Γκόζης, ο Ανέστης Δαλέζης, ο Λεονάρντο Θίμο, ο Παύλος Παπαδάκης, ο Λευτέρης Δερμιτζάκης, ο Αντώνης Μεραμβελιωτάκης, η Ελένη Αναγνωστοπούλου, ο Δημήτριος Γαϊτάνης, η Ζωή Γκαϊδατζή, ο Αντώνιος Σπυρίδων Αργυρός, Ζωή Συμεωνίδη είναι σκηνοθέτες-δημιουργοί που κρατάνε την φλόγα του Παλιου Κινηματογραφου ζωντανή στις μέρες μας.
Η “Κινηματογραφική Λέσχη Παύλου Παρασχάκη” με μια 15ετη πορεία στο χώρο της τηλεόρασης, της βιντεοκασέτας και του Κινηματογράφου συνεχίζει την πορεία της διαδικτυακα λόγω του μεγέθους της πανδημίας του Κορονοϊου και μετά το ξαφνικό χαμό του αγαπημένου προέδρου Νικολά Γιαννέα, την λέσχη αναλαμβάνουν ως Αντιπρόεδρος και ως Πρόεδρος, οι ηθοποιοί θεάτρου Αντώνιος Σπυρίδων Αργυρός και Λεονάρντο Θίμο, αντίστοιχα.
Το 1ο Ανεξάρτητο Φεστιβάλ Κινηματογράφου της λέσχης ξεκίνησε το 2013, στην Λαμία, το όποιο το άνοιξε ο Δήμαρχος Στυλίδας, ηθοποιός Απόστολος Γκλέτσος, νικητές της βραδιάς ήταν οι δημιουργοί Ανέστης Δαλέζης, Λεονάρντο Θίμο, Λάζαρος Μανωλακάκης, Κριστιάνι Θίμο, Τάκης & Ντάνιελ Πανούσης, Αντώνης Μεραμβελιωτάκης, John Madrid, Aishwarya Smith και Jim Mustang. Τόσο έλληνες καλλιτέχνες όσο και από εξωτερικό (Ινδία, Αλβανία, Γερμανία) Έκτοτε, το Ανεξάρτητο Φεστιβάλ προβλήθηκε στο Ηράκλειο Κρήτης (2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018) και βραβεύτηκαν καλλιτεχνες όπως, Γιώργος Τριανταφύλλου, Ντίνος Καρύδης, Άννα Φόνσου, Juan Inimet, John Keuner, Ivana Raymonda van der Veen, Natasja Nicols, Furian, Jonathan & Ray Traylor, Dorian Cozier, Λέανδρος Καραϊσκάκης, Αυγερινός Σέρμπος, Φίλιππος Βεργίνης, Ανθή Βεργίνη, Πόπη Καβουσάκη, Πόπη Στεφανάκη, Αιφνίδιος, Jerome Kaluta, Γιώργος Μετοχιανάκης, Γιώργος Σταματάκης, Κυριάκος Κορογιάννης, Johannes Joe Tammeger, Gabriel Postolache, και άλλοι. Από το 2019 μέχρι το 2021 το Ανεξάρτητο Φεστιβάλ Κινηματογράφου έγινε στην Αθήνα με την συμμετοχή αναγνωρισμένων καλλιτεχνών, όπως Παντελή Βούλγαρη, Θεόδωρο Μαραγκό, Δημήτρη Κολλάτο, Λεωνίδα Τσιριγκούλη, Νίκο Ζαχόπουλο, Jerome Kaluta, Νίκο Ψαρρό, Γιώργο Τσικαλουδάκη, Βίκυ Δρίβα, Ντίνα Βούρτση, Τάκη Κτενά, Άννα Φόνσου, Ντίνο Καρύδη, Γιώργο Γιαννόπουλο, Γρηγόρη Κεδρηνό και Σπύρο Κατηφόρη.

You need to learn the difference between Semi-Finalist and Nominee. Semi-Finalist is better than Nominee. My film, you had it as a Semi-Finalist. And I was excited because it was the first award it was nominated for. But then you took it away because it wasn't a nomination. That makes no sense. Semi-Finalist is better than Nomination. You have to show my film on your offical nomination page because it is not fair you took away my away my films nomination. My film is Revolt Of The Suit. Give me the proper nomination you owe me. You already gave me a semi-finalist nomination anyways. So unprofessional. I wonder how many others you have screwed over with your unprofessional tactics.

Hello, to whomever may read this. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Lorenzo Flores. I work on a film that was submitted to you. I believe we got an honorable mention. I've been following the Facebook page of the organization that makes this festival to the best of my abilities as I'm not always able to come here and check it out do to my tumultuous lifestyle that i'm trying to recover from. I think what you're doing is misleading the people. I do find it odd that this young man would complain about getting a Semi-Finalist nomination. And like you said, his film won multiple awards. I found it odd so I decided to read the full comment because I couldn't believe that someone would be immature enough to leave an inappropriate comment because they got nominated. So I read the comment and like I said, what you're doing is misleading. He's not exactly complaining about getting a Semi-Finalist nomination. Although he does talk about it, it's not the main point of his comment. The true point of his comment are the accusations about everyone who runs the festival essentially letting themselves win. And he has a video proving his evidence. How he ask somebody from your organization about it, and how they basically admitted to doing that. Although this young man may not have done it in the most tactful way, he is pointing out a credible fault that this film festival has. The fault of allowing yourselfs to win your own awards. I understand that there is a voting website for this but he was correct in pointing out that you didnt advertise it correctly, and that's including the point that he makes that the people who run the festival have submitted themselves into the voting website to get the votes of the people. If anything, that is this young mans complaint, that the people who make the festival are giving themselfs the awards. You should all be ashamed of yourselfs. Seriously thinking you can claim to run a legitimate festival when your robbing others of their rightful wins.
